I have cranked up my intensity. For many months I have been loath to pushing my body beyond a limit for fear of risking injury. While this is a safe practice, it is not something that will pay increasing dividends. For that, you need to be prepared to push those weary muscles. I used to average 28-32 kms walk per 7 day week. For the past 2 months I am happily pushing 55-60 kms per 6 day week. Surprisingly my energy levels have increased even in these dreadful summer temperatures. Sample this, when I was averaging 30 kms I was prone to feeling tired and taking power naps. Now, the thought of a nap in the afternoon never crosses my mind! What's more, I now pay serious attention to everything I eat. This is one of the most understated benefits of a regular workout. You do pay attention to what you eat because you realise on a daily basis how difficult it is to keep fit. Therefore the less calories you intake the less you have to burn off. Of course, some might label this as overzealousness, but for me this is plain and simple logic. If you want to take your fitness to another level then you have to be prepared to make sacrifices and for that, mind most conquer the body, period.

Workouts going as per schedule
My workouts are going great! It is wonderful when you have a beautiful rhythm going. Momentum is everything as far as fitness is concerned. So many things get automated. Your body is ready for the wake up call in the morning, your movements are economised and you are out of the house in a jiffy. You get transported to a completely different world as far as your mental set-up is concerned.
